Hiya everybody,
I guess I'm back, kind off. I always enjoyed writing for the smell of blossom, but somehow I kind of forgot the blog. But I think I am back.

A lot has changed lately. I died my hair really dark brown, and I have a new boyfriend, but don't know if that will last a long time. Haha. I'm still in my last year on school, but my final traineeship start in a couple of months.

Although it was a long time no see, I will try to spend more time on the smell of blossom, so we can celebrate it's second aniversery.

I live about 15 minutes from Amsterdam city center, but I love to behave as a tourist. This is at the dam square, I love it! Ever been in Amsterdam? It's a great place to shop!

The blazer is from h&m, the tunic is from vero moda and the shoes I bought in Spain for only 8(!) euros. Cheap, isn't it?

Just got back from my job interview, and I have the job! Not in the front office, but in the food and beverage. Although I have the job, I'm going for another job interview in a hotel tomorrow. Because I prefer a job in the front office, so lets cross the vingers!

I also checked my email an hour ago and I recieved an email that I do have the room! So I'm really, really happy! I'm going to sign the contract next monday, and I can move in by the end of the month!

As you might know, I love clothes and I love to shop. Unfortunatly I don't have much money, as specially since I have moving plans I need to save money. But I couldn't resist H&M and their prices, take a look!

Today it's the 30th of April, queensday in the Netherlands. Everything orange and lots of parties. Usually I spend my queensday in the capital of the Netherlands, Amsterdam, drinking and chilling. But this year I didn't feel like going to Amsterdam so my mum and I went to castricum with our little shi-tzu Daisy.

I saw this really old VW beatle and I totally fell in love! If I have the money, I would definitly buy a car like this! Love it!

Well, as you know I'm searching for a room/house and this morning I saw I have a second position for a room in Hoofddorp, very close to my school. Usually I don't like to celebrate my birthday, but this year my mum forced me a little bit and since I turned 20, wich is special (I think), I decided to celebrate it. In the morning my mum suprised me with a really good breakfast and in the afternoon we went out to Castricum for a really good lunch. And in the evening we invited some friends and it was overall a really good day.

Hi everybody!
How are you guys? I'm back, in the Netherlands! I arrived last friday, after a canceled flight and a night in the capital (wohoo!) of Gran Canaria, Las Palmas. It used to be a holiday just for 4 days, but I stay, and will not finish my traineeship in Gran Canaria. Just a week before I went home my mum called me she was not feeling well, had problems with her heart. And since she has no husband to look after her, I decided to stay. She's doing better now. And well, I'm feeling better too, being her in the Netherlands. The wetter is really good and it's good to be at home with my mum. Now I need to search for a traineeship here in the Netherlands, and today I send out my CV to many hotels, so I'll cross my fingers.

Helly everybody! How are you guys doing? I'm here at Gran Canaria, Mogan now for three weeks, still 17 weeks to go until I'm back in the Netherlands! Long time haha, I'll be back the beginning of July. I hope I can post some pictures soon. I don't have internet in my room but I'm always at the beach using the WIFI from the jetski center. Anyways, I work in an animation team here at Gran Canaria, and during 11.00 and 16.00 I do lots of activities with the adults and kids. In the night time, from 20.00 till midnight, I dance the minidico with kids, give out certificates and do some PR with the guests. Like it a lot ;)

How to deal with heartache?

Two days ago I broke up with my boyfriend, after a relationship of a month and we know each other now for 5 or 6 months. It was hard, but I realized that we just aren't 'meant to be'. The way how he feels about things is so much different than the way I feel, but still. It hurts and I don't know what to do. Today I went to Amsterdam with my mom, just for a little bit of shopping and forgetting. It didn't help, because again I'm sitting here, thinking about him and writing about him. It sucks. And the problem is that I am the problem. I can't handle things very well, and when somebody says something to me, I can make up the weirdest situations in my head. One day I'm so happy and ten minutes later I can feel really, really depressed. Do you guys know what to do? :(

It's been a while ago, but I was too busy for updating my blog. But well, I guess I'm back and so I'll give you a little update. I just booked my ticket for my internship abroad. It turned out that I could go to Gran Canaria, and I definitly said YES to that! 5 Months with sunshine, children and a lot of dancing and fun, why not? I'm really looking forward to this great one-in-a-lifetime experience!

The bedroom again

Because of the horrible weather today I decided to clean and organize my room. My mother finally helped me with the curtains, and now they are prefect. My room is still not finished, but I'm getting close. The table on the left with the plant needs to be painted white. I'll do that whenever I have a free day again. Okay, stop talking, just see youself.

I put a closet for my books on the right side. Had them first in a sort of basket, but I had too many. So that's why.

I cleaned out my closet. I'm proud at myself for doing that.

I bought my car a week and a half ago, because my old car was too expensive, and this one is a lot smaller. I'm really in love with it, the color, and the way it drives. It's not the most sportiest car there is, but I'm just proud at it because I bought it myself (I also bought my other car myself, and I also paid for my own driving license). I like it and it's cheaper then the other one. Just want to share it with you ;)

Internship in the UK

London, Gatwick, Cork, Bristol? What's the best place to stay for my internship for 6 months? Can you help me pick something out? I had 'crowne plaza' in London Gatwick in my mind because of the good stories (but I think it's a bit boring over there). London city is ofcourse absolutely fabulous but will it cost me a lot of money to stay there? And how is it there? And cork is absolutely beautifull ofcourse, but how's it to live there? I don't have a clue. Never been in the UK before and I really want to improve my English. So guys, can you help me make up my mind?

The bedroom

This is my bedroom. During the holliday I tried to make something of the room, and yet it is still not finished. As you can see in the left corner, my curtains are too long, and the wall on the right side is not really how I want it to be. But in the weekends I work on the room. Don't you just love my bed? I love it. I bought it secondhand and the bed is handmade. On the left side I have an old table I got for free from my neighbours, and all the pink stuff that's on it, is from a thriftshop. On the right side is my second hand table and everything what's on there is secondhand too. On the bed you see my little friends. Can't sleep without them. And yes, I'm maybe a little bit too old for them (19) but I don't care. If my monkey is not around I can't sleep. (I called him 'aapie', that's dutch for monkey) Hope to show you more pictures when it's finally done.

Friendship

The lack of updates wasn't only because I had to go to school or to work, it was also because I lost a couple of friends. Or actually, I decided not to be friends with them anymore. Right now, I haven't got much friends in 'real life', only one really good one, and my mother ofcourse (she is my biggest inspiration). When I was younger I had more friends, but now I'm growing up I realise that some people don't really deserve to be my friend. I had a friend, who told everything to me, all her problems, and all her joys. But when I had a problem or whatever, she never listened. She always told me she rather stay with her other friend, but because that friend had something else to do, she called me. I felt used. She was always angry with me when I went out with somebody else, or met new friends, she couldn't handle that and we broke up our friendship. In the last two months, I broke up with another 'friend'. She was talking behind my back and chose the side of a boy who hates me and did really bad things to me. Now I have only one good friend left, but she's everything to me. We have some arguments at the time, but we always have a way to figure out things. We always stay friends en she's is always there for me (just like I'm there for her). I don't know if you people know hyves? It's something like 'myspace' but it's the dutch version. I have a lot of 'friends' there, over 300. I know them from former jobs and even from school, but I never speak to them in real life. Some of them wanted me to become their friend on 'hyves', but when I asked how they are and what they do right now, they didn't respond. So last week I started to delete all my 'friends' who are just people I 'used' to know, and never speak with them in real life. Maybe I'll delete my whole account on hyves...

Long story, I'm sorry, and I'm sorry for the mistakes, my English isn't really good, but what do you think of friendship? Have you got many friends? Or just one friend you know sure that you can trust him/her and it comes in both ways?

Holiday in the Netherlands

I'm spending my holiday in the Netherlands, and not only because I've to work during my holiday and I haven't got enough money to go to Spain or France, but just because I love being here. It isn't really bad though. My mum and I went to 'camperduin' in the North of the Netherlands, and enjoyed the day walking around and taking pictures of the lovely sea. The weather is finally a little bit better and it was actually not cold :)

Hurray! The sun is shining and the temperature is rising! So today I wore an old pair of jeans from bershka and my zara dress. The wayfarer looking sunglasses are from H&M and the bag is from Invito. I did some shopping today for my room, it's almost finished and I'll take some pictures soon.

The old cottage

When I have enough money, I'll leave the Netherlands to find myself a cute little old cottage. Such like this one, it's in France. I found it on the web while I was searching for a cottage wich is for rent during the holidays. Maybe I'll suprise my mom and rent a cottage during christmas, somewhere in England or in France. How about you? Do you like new, tight houses or do you prefer an old one like this cottage?

I live in the Netherlands, and most of the time the weather is really, really bad. It's summer and it's raining already a week! I'm getting a little bit depressed and want to sheer up the website with a nice, summerish picture. Hopefully the weather will be better next week, so I can get a little bit tanned. I'm so white right now, I hate it.

I love Keira Knightley, and not only because she's a great actress, but mostly for her style and her personality. Keira is not a typical British girl and her outfits are most of the time vintage. I love her body too, some people think she's too skinny but I think it's just the way she is. And she looks good.
